I'm blogging from Mcarran Intnernational Airport in Las Vegas. Exhibitor2009 has ended and I'm ready to head back to Atlanta. We had a pretty good show. The booth looked great, I've got some pictures that I will post once I get back home but I was very happy with our design and theme. We got a number of compliments about our videos and the website overall. We awarded a $500 gift card to the person that came the closest to guessing how many products we had on displayit.com for online purchase, the correct answer was 1061 and the winning entry was 1056, Wow! I thought the promotion worked well, we had a number of people tell us they spent some extra time on the site getting to know it better so they could make an educated guess.
Overall, extrusion and fabric displays ruled the show floor, there are a number of new systems for supporting fabric, and I'm going to provide additional blog reports in the coming days, plus pictures. We hope to have a number of these new innovative products on displayit.com very soon. There is no doubt that the display industry is going through some rapid change at the moment and it will be exciting to see where the future takes us. My brain is pretty worn down after three long days in Vegas, so I'll have to cut my report short. Look for more detailed reports from the show here at displayitblog.com in the days to come.
tapping my fingers on my desk waiting for pictures from the show..
